Golf is a tradition in the Lowcountry, and Berkeley County has some of the most scenic and challenging courses around. Crowfield Plantation has one of the most unique courses in the area. Located in Goose Greek on Crowfield Blvd. off St. James Blvd. at 300 Hamlet Circle. (843) 764-4618. Oaks Country Club is a gorgeous old course on the grounds of an historic plantation home that houses the country club. Located at The Avenue of Oaks in Goose Greek. (843) 553-2422. Berkeley Country Club has been described as one of the prettiest courses in the region. A new clubhouse is in the old plantation summerhouse style. Located just outside Moncks Corner on Old Highway 52. Berkeley Country Club is an 18-hole, 72 par course with paved cart paths, ponds, and beautiful old oaks. (843) 761-4880. St. Stephen Golf Course is a very scenic 9-hole course located in upper Berkeley County with a driving range. It is located outside the town of St. Stephen. Call for directions, (843) 567-4653. Cypress Pointe Executive Par 3 is an 18-hole course with large turf greens, lighted for nighttime play. It's located between Highways 17 & 52 on Cypress Gardens Road. (843) 761-5599.
